Full Description

Surrounding Land Status code - C

This area is a good example of visible changes in (at least post medieval) agricultural practice. At least three main phases of agricultural ridges are present in this area.
The square enclosure is one of the last events in the land management in this area, the western most D shaped enclosure shows two events in the more formalized linear rigging process, the final phase truncating the earlier one and the enclosure boundary. The easterly D shaped enclosure shows a less formalized rig; however it is clear that all these enclosures are super imposed over the earlier thicker and more curvi-linear agricultural ridges that surround these features.
Visible in AP's.
