Full Description

EF 25:
This blackhouse forms part of the settlement Coilleag.
Impact Description: The group value of this site will be affected by th proposed route of slipway access road. (Minor impact)
(Babtie Group, 1999)

E 303:
This house is very small, it measures just 3 x 3 metres, the walls stand 30 cm high and are covered with turf. An entrance is possibly on its southern corner. It is situated 10 metres to the north of house E301.
Interpretation: This building was probably used as a barn, it seems to be too small to live in it. The bad condition of the walls suggest a Medieval date. It was probably used by the inhabitants of house E 301 as an additional storage room/barn.
