Full Description

E 256:
This rectilinear stone structure is orientated from north north-west to south south-east and measures ca 6 x 5 metres. Some stones still seem to be in situ, but most are collapsed/ robbed and since turfed over. Outer wallface is clearest. The structure is situated on a relatively flat ridge on otherwise slight downward slope. Long grass vegetation.
Interpretation: This structure could date to the medieval period, but could also be later. Due to the bad appearance it is uncertain whether it was used as a dwelling site/ transhumance site or had another purpose.
