Full Description
E 257:
The orientation of this short wall or alignment is from south-west to north-east. Only 2 metres (three stones) are still visible. The three stones seem to be in situ. Two stones stand quite near, while there is a 40 cm gap to the third. They are situated on relatively flat land about 60 metres west from Loch Crakavaig.
Interpretation: The purpose of this wall or alignment of stones is completely unknown. If it once formed part of a longer and higher stone (and turf) wall, it could date to medieval or post medieval times. If it is part of a stone alignment it could date to prehistoric times. In both cases the structure has been robbed since.
