Full Description

E 259:
The cultivation beds are orientated from north-east to south-west and are running 7 metres downslope (NE) and 18 metres across slope. Long grass vegetation.
Interpretation: This cultivation area (together with E 433) was most likely used by the inhabitants of the small group of buildings further to the south-west, south or south-east (Heisinish) Therefore this field could date from Medieval to Post Medieval or perhaps crofting time.
