Full Description

E 264:
This large recangular building has a central dividing wall. It measures 5.6 x 9.9 metres and the height of the walls vary from 0.5 - 1.5 metres. Some parts of the wall are collapsed. There seem to be a lot of deposits within the building as the inside of the house lies substantially higher than the surrounding exterior. A possible additional structure is attached to the south wall. The site is situated quite exposed on a slight hill.
Interpretation: It seems likely that the inhabitants of this house cultivated the field E 263, lying a few metres to the east of the house. This house belongs to the group of three houses west of Heisinish.
