Full Description

E 286:
This dyke is 75 cm wide, 75 cm high and about 20 metres long. It is orientated from north-east to south-west. The surrounding vegetation is long grass and the remains of the dyke are mostly covered with turf.
Interpretation: This dyke probably belongs to the house north of it. This house is built of concrete and has been abandoned very recently and is still roofed. However, the dyke seems to be much older, and was built probably in Medieval or Post Medieval times. The purpose of this dyke is unknown.
