Full Description

E 364:
This dyke is approximately 50 metres long, slightly curving, running roughly in a south-easterly direction. It stands about 50 cm high and is 60 cm thick, and completely covered with turf, but a few stones are still visible. It is situated 5 metres north-east of a fence, and running parallel to it. Next to it is a small stream, the soil around is boggy.
Interpretation: This dyke could probably be part of a bigger enclosure. Another possibility is, that it is part of a boundary between the settlement area to the north and the rough pasture to the south (Ben Scrien) (Head dyke). Probably it was later (today) used as apath though the wet area.
