Full Description

E 393:
This house measures 4.8 x 3.2 metres, it has low walls (50 - 60 cm high) which are nearly completely turfed over. The house is orientated from west to east. A doorway is located in the centre of the eastern short wall. The building is situated on a platform 11 metres to the west of house E 392 and stands also just a few metres above the sea level.
Interpretation: This house is another small building, which was probably used as a storage room as well. It seems to be older than the house complex E 391 and E 392 because its walls are standing very low and are turfed over. The date is probably Medieval. It could have been used by the inhabitants of house E 392, before the 'new' storage E 391 was built.
