Full Description

E 408:
This house measures 7.8 x 6.8 metres, it is orientated from west to east and its walls stand up to 1.3 metres high, but are partly collapsed and turfed over. A doorway is located in the centre of the southern long wall The house is situated on a platform in a small valley, north of the small stream Abhainn nam Pairceanan. 6 metres to the east a more modern house is located.
Interpretation: It is unclear if this house is a small blackhouse or a big storage room or shelter. It could have been built at the transition between Medieval and Post Medieval times.
