Full Description

E 437:
This dyke is situated at the western foot of Ben Scrien. It stands around 50 cm high and the stones at the base are nearly completely turfed over. The dyke runs downslope in a south-wesertly direction before curving round in the valley to a southerly direction. It measures 60 metres. To the south of the end of the dyke an enclosure E 438 is located.
Interpretation: This dyke seems to be contemporary with the enclosure, it was probably used for stock management.
