Full Description

2: Cairn. Lower layers of cairn, visible as a mound with scattered stones. Grassed over in many places. On a ridge of slightly higher ground, associated with site 3 (SMR no. 8393).
Badcock & Wheeler 1995, 6

NB Anna Badcock suggests that this is one of the Rubh a'Charnain cairns as surveyed in by the OS (i.e. SMR 1262 or 1263), but as this would involve a very substantial survey error on the part of the OS, and there are other cairns to the north of this one, it is entered as a seperate record.
