11:stone wall (lower course only). Double edged with orthostats (up to 0.7m x 0.35m), central cavity filled with smaller stones. The wall is aligned to the southern part of Road A (the adjacent road MML), and marks an earlier road alignment or major field boundary. Southern end is continuous for 21m, becoming discontinuous to north.
Badcock & Webster 1995
NB The description does not clarify whether this road is earlier or later than the surrounding feannagan. MML 28.8.2000
Wall 11 had been identified during the walkover surveys. It had been targeted for further investigation, but it had been decided that no development work or plant movement would occur in this area. It was re-photographed and examined briefly, but no further work was carried out. This wall overlies, and therefore post-dates, cultivation rigs.
