NB 10514 37961
Fast eroding beachfront exposing cellular house structures, extensive middens and substantial pottery remains.
Crawford 2008, 3
Eroding section showing two walls and internal stratigraphy between the two. Internally, midden material & ceramics sealed by wind blown sand layers.
KM 07/2013.
Continued erosion of section was indicated by fallen stones and midden material. Additionally a large amount of ceramic fragments in one location was indicative of a probable single vessel. The vessel was flat based with thick fabric and large inclusions, consistant with BA vessel construction; it was recovered by the AS.
