Full Description

Five rectilinear fields, each 140-180m wide, 380m-450m long, and orientated NE-SW; bounded by low peat-covered boulder alignments; several of the boundaries appear to traverse obliquely earlier cultivation rigs. The field system represents the eastern part of a series of planned boundaries recorded on the Robert Reid map of 1799; as such the monument undoubtedly dates to the early 19th century. The field system appears to be closely associated with settlements V12-15.
