House B is 7 x 5m, with a door in the centre of the south wall and no internal partition wall.
House C is behind B and is 8 x 5m, with a south facing door and no partition wall. It is abutted on the west side by a building 6 x 5m, with a possible platform in its SW corner. This may be a drying shed.

VN149 (NL6379554*) A complex of five buildings built on ledges and slope immediately above the road. The two nearest the sea appear to be more recent than the others with considerable stone still showing; the others are heavily embedded. Building A is c. 10 x 8 m externally, with a south-east facing door and an appended wall running to a small square outbuiliding to the south-west. Building B next to A is c. 7 x 5 m externally with a south-east-facing door. Building D is further up-slope behind C and is about 9 m square, with a south-east wall. A wall runs south-westwards from one corner of building E along the back of building B to enclose a 'yard'. This is a most interesting complex. Buildings A, B and C are blackhouses, D and E are outbuildings, but we believe not all the buildings were contemporary.

*This grid reference is a misprint. It has been wrongly rounded from the grid reference in the Coastal Assessment of NL63699545. At six figures this should be NL637955. RCB 18/04/03
Centred on NL 6369 9547
Deserted township. The wall running west from Sheffiled's House A continues byond the 'small square shed' and continues for a total of about 18m. House C does appear to have a N-S central partition.
