Full Description

EF6 (NF727079) An arc of 11 stone blocks well-embedded and, to judge from surface indications, part of a complete circle about 5.5 m diameter. There is no trace of either stones or a mound inside the kerb, however, so that it does not appear to be a kerbed cairn like EF1 and EF2. It may be similar to the flat cairn excavated at T214 on Barra (Branigan 1995: 184-8), although the kerb at EF6 is far better constructed and much more akin to those found around the kerbed cairns.
