Full Description

L19 (NF709010) Almost circular raised turf bank, 7 x 6.3 m, with possible entrance 1.5 m wide on east north-east. Slight ditch around outside, and interior area appears sunken. The bank is about 1.2 m wide and survives 0.4 m high at its maximum. Its size suggets comparison with stone-founded huts of IA date, the superstructures of which were perhaps built of turf or peat blocks.
