Full Description

SY18 (NL63009203) Boat-shaped stone setting.
Location: Coastal peninsula.
Description: Pointed boat shape, 2.5 x 0.7 m, of single set stones in the 0.60 x 0.80 m size range sited on the Sheader headland, which is perhaps an expected location for a boat setting, but the form is less than perfect since pointed prow is missing.
Note: Erosion to bedrock in places.
