Full Description

SY22 (NL63299181) Complex of roundhouse and shelter.
Location: Bottom hill-slope to valley.
Description: Circular mounded 5 m disc of displaced stone with shelter to one side.
Brannigan and Foster 2000, 69

SY22a (NL63299181) Roundhouse.
Location As above.
Description: Circular mounded disc of disarranged grassed over stone work, 5 m diam., designated as a roundhouse only on its merits as a large circular structure. Like many other monuments located close to or in area of preferred settlement the possiblility of stone robbing is very high and this site is situated to the east side at the northern end of the intensively used valley that runs south from the Sheader settlement. The disarranged state of SY22A, which masks its clear identification, is therefore no surprise.
Brannigan and Foster 2000, 69-70

SY 22b (NL63299181) Shelter.
Location: As above
Description: Square, 1 x 1 m, single cell shelter built on the south-east edge of the roundhouse wall circuit.
Brannigan and Foster 2000, 70
