Full Description

SY62 (NL64539236) Roundhouse.
Location: Lower hill slope above coastal plateau.
Description: Rounded shape with suggestion of internal structures, 5 x 4m, slightly mounded. Described as a roundhouse on the same criteria as SY22A, which means that this 5 m diam, featureless mound of grassed stonework could also be a cairn, a designation that would suit its location on a natural platform on the northern coastal slope of Carnach.
Note: Much internal collapse and no suggestion of internal radial divisions.
