Full Description

SY71 (NL64479110) Chamber tomb.
Location: Inside dyke.
Description: Subrectangular single cell, 3.5 x 2 m, of massive orthostats 0.7 - 1.7 m in size range standing up to 0.95 m high with what appears to be fallen lintel stones inside chamber. The rank fern and heather vegetation obscured more stone work than visible in the recorded field illustration. The site is located on a rock shelf of the lower slopes of Cairn Galtar overlooking the length of Gleann Mor glen to the south and south-east.
