Full Description

SY86 (NL63379190) Blackhouse.
Location: Plateau on lower hill slope to Sheader.
Description: Sub-rectangular single cell, 5 x 3.5 m, unimproved blackhouse, with 0.6 m thick walls that are externally rounded and built of banked earth and small stones, but internally they are stone-faced and sharply cornered. There are opposing entrances east and west.
