Full Description
SY89 (NL63509206) Shieling.
Location: Mid-slope inside dyke.
Description: Building with two trapezoidal-shaped cells, 7 x 4 m, built against field wall and bedrock exposure. Entrance from the west with internal doorway leading into second room. Both cells measure 3.5 x 4 m and are constructed of drystone walling.
Note: Masses of displaced collapsed stonework.
