Full Description
SY102 (NL64969150) Building.
Location: Valley floor in eastern sand dunes.
Description: Square, 4 x 4 m, building of drystone walling several courses high. Internal corner angles infilled with stone. The centre is paved by a circle, 1.5 m diam., of flat-laid stone slabs. An early modern date in the 18th century is assumed by the considerable amount of pottery and associated low denomination coinage of that period found in the area.
Note: Area threatened by erosion and is littered with displaced stone work eroding out of the deflating dunes.
