Full Description

SY132 (NL64699047) Shieling complex.
Location: Hill-slope coastal peninsula.
Description: Interconnected multicellular builidng, 8 x 7 m, complex of four circular and rectangular rooms.
Note: Much collapsed stonework. Similar in form to SY75.

Location: As above.
Description: Rectangular single cell, 3.5 x 3 m, with south entrance and no direct access to the other rooms.

SY132b (NL64699047) Shieling.
Location: As above.
Description: Square single cell, 2 x 2 m, with party wall to (a), entrance through from (d), external exit to north, but there is no access to cell (c).

SY132c (NL64699047) Shieling.
Location: As above.
Description: Slightly oval single cell, 1.5 x 1.2 m, with entrance to north-east. Although it has a party wall with (b) there is no connection with the other cells.

Description: Circular single cell, 2 m diam., acts as antechamber to cell (b). Entrance to south-east.
