Full Description

S29 (NL697991) Three adjoining stone-built structures. At the southern end a poorly built blackhouse 9 x 5.5 m, central door 0.9 m wide, and no internal partition. At the north end a drying shed, 9.8 x 4.6 m set at right angles to the house and with a raised platform with angled flue at one end. These two buildings were linked by the insertion of a shed or byre with internal measurements of 3.4 x 2.7 m.
