Full Description

MY119 (NL55778238) Shieling.
Location: Hecla-Carnan hill saddle.
Description: Oval, 8 x 6 m, double cell similar to MY106/7. The metre-thick earthen wall foundations are edged in places by large slabs set upright. There is no apparent entrance. The overall oval shape is modified by being pointed at one end and rounded at the other. A cross-wall divids the building into two rooms.
