Full Description

NB: Two peat dryer sites with same NGR but different descriptions.

MY322 (NL55978396) Peat dryer.
Location: Ridge plateau.
Description: Rectangular, 4.5 x 2.5 m, low mound graded into the hillside to the south-east. A stone facade to the north-west is much disarranged and there are a few stones set along the western side.

MY325 (NL55978396) Peat dryer.
Location: Ridge plateau.
Description: Rectangular, 6.5 x 2.2 m, long structure with stone sides of set and piled rock. A southern facade is composed mainly of single large blocks. The northern end is open and here there are some scattered displaced stones in and around the structure.
Note: Internally badly damaged by burrowing.
