Full Description

The remains of a small oval building, c. 3 x 2m, with entrance to the south, on a slight mound.

Location: NB 38967 25772 Parish of Lochs - Crossbost - SW of Loch an Dun
Description: Cellular stone building, probably a sheiling, with single entrance facing east. Oval in plan with E/W alignment.
Exterior dimensions: 4.65 m x 3.85m
Interior dimensions: 2.5m x 1.75m.
Walls stone-faced on both sides with earth filling; single course surviving to maximum height of 0.6m.
