Full Description

BY69: Chamber (sic) tomb. On natural hillock on coastal plain. By 69 is located to the east of BY68 at a similar elevation and on a similar presumably periglacial oval mound, 7.5m x 4.5m, of earth and rubble. The mound is surmounted by the possible remnants of a once rectangular chamber of orthostats. Now only four survive spaced almost equally around the mound summit in an oval configuration, 1.25 x 2.25m. The shape is also rectangular at about 2m to each side with one northern slab still set on edge.
