Full Description

BY79: Blackhouse. Midslope. Subrectangular, 5 x 4m, single-cell barn with walls 1.2m thick and an entrance to the east is the result of extensive remodelling of a blackhouse originally 8.5 x 5m with an entrance to the north. The platform of the dismantled half of the blackhouse extends east from the present barn structure. There is much displaced stonework locally.
