Full Description

BY84: Chamber (sic) tomb. Midslope plateau. A 7m diam. circular mound surmounted by two large stone slabs set on edge parallel to each other. No other stonework appeared to exist in the rank overgrown grass that covered the area, but two early modern shelters (BY82/83) built on the edges of the mound mostlikely were constructed from material taken from the tomb. Unfortunately, the weather virtually closed down work within minutes of arrival on the location. The area off the mound is generally very stone-free and boggy.
