Full Description
C5 (NF676029) A 2.5 m high grassed mound, 12 x 9.5 m, with heavily embedded remains of a stone and turf hut 3.5 m square. At the sout -east corner of the mound, and halfway down its slope, a shell miden has been exposed by sheep and yielded two small reddish-brown gritty sherds and a flint blade. Medieval shieling hut, overlying a Later prehistoric site.
