Full Description
C39 (NF664032) Oblong stone building, 12.6 x 8.6 m, with annexe (possibly a contemporary build) on the south end, 7 x 8.6 m. The main building has a door in the east wall, and there is secondary pen built into the south-east corner. The annexe has a platform with traces of a 'flue' against its south wall, and a door in its west wall. There is a semicircular platform against the west wall of the main building, and a third structure 7 m square 5 m to the west, with a narrow door in its south-east corner. A curving wall runs from the north-west corner of this building round to meet the north-west corner of the main building, thus creating a small yard or possibly garden plot. Blackhouse, drying shed, and byre.
