Full Description

G23 (NF690051) An earth and stone bank around an area of lazy-bedding broadens into a substantial stone-revetted platform. Two streams are diverted around the end of the platform to pass between two well-built stone walls 0.7 m apart. One large capping stone joining the two walls together is in place. Downstream of this structure is a built conduit, which leads to a natural ravine. Watermill?
