Full Description
A typical Western Isles well, consisting of semi-circular drystone walling constructed around a chalybeate spring, and capped with a slab. Mentioned in Martin Martin as a healing well. Cleared of overgrowth and debris by Mrs Robin Goodman and Mrs Morag Maclennan 2001-2002. MML 14.2.2003
S66 NG 01926 93812. Well with stone lintel (and modern surrounding stones). Water runs red, and is believed by some to have healing properties
