Full Description

VN29 (NL625968) A prominent grassed-over knoll, 15 x 14 m, with well-embedded stone blocks scattered on its summit. Rabbit burrowing suggests a good depth of soil on the knoll. Four sherds were found in rabbit spoil, three of which were small and featureless. The fourth was a flat-topped rim of possible LBA date. The blocks on the summit form an amorphous group about 6 x 4 m. Prehistoric site, possibly with later shieling structure.
