Full Description

VN79 (NL626958) Oblong stone building 10 x 6 m with central south-east-facing door protected by thickening of front wall to the west. There appears to be a low stone-built bench along the inside face of the east wall. Blackhouse. VN78 and 79 are both well-embedded and robbed and we are tempted to suggest that they were abandoned and replaced by the two houses at VN77, in a much more sheltered location immediately below.
