Full Description

VN91 (NL623961) A prominent grassed mound 30 x 20 m, with a mass of stone blocks heavily embedded in it, immediately below a high protective rock face. No discernible pattern to stone debris, but almost certainly a major building. The degree of embedding suggests to us a prehistoric structure rather than a modern one; possibly an Iron Age roundhouse to judge from the size of mound and amount of stonework.
