Full Description

VS33 (NL628939) Roughly semicircular earth and stone bank, c. 35 m diam, built up to a rock face. On the south side there is a gap in the bank, flanked on the west by the standing stone VS32. West of the stone is a smaller banked structure, c. 8 x 4 m, built up to the main bank. A sheep pen with an internal lambing pen?

The monument known as Beinn Ruilibreac, standing stones and enclosure 360m ESE of, Vatersay, comprises a standing stone and associated enclosure that are to be found iin rough and rocky ground on the SE of Ben Rulibreck on Vatersay. The area to be scheduled is rectangular and measures 50m SW-NE by 30m transversely, to include the stone, enclosures, and an area around in which associated remains may survive.
