Full Description

VS58 (NL648944) Arc of five stone blocks, a sixth to one side and a seventh in the centre. The centre block and two in the arc are set upright, while the remaining four blocks lie flat. The largest stones are 1.1 m and 1 m long, but the central stone is only 0.3 m high. The impression is of a modified and partly demolished stone ring, with a diam. c. 6 m and two stones removed from the south-east quadrant. The outlying stone, 0.75 m long, may have been removed from the south-west quadrant. Prehistoric stone ring?
