Full Description

VS64 (NL641945) An impressive monolith, recumbent, 2.15 m long, 1.1 m wide at the base narrowing to 0.8 m below the rounded tip, and about 0.4 m deep in section. The stone lies 4 m east of the bank (VS63) and close by the point where the narrow northern section of bank picks up from the southern section. A connection between bank and stone cannot be demonstrated but not only is the juxtaposition suggestive, but the stone continues the alignment of the broad southern bank at the point where the narrow bank swings away north-westwards. Standing stone/boundary marker? Of uncertain age.
