Full Description

"This wall runs for 400 metres from the south shore of Loch Erisort to the north-west shore of Loch Oigheabhat. Constructed of turf with some stone facing it is heavily denuded standing no more than a quarter of its original constructed height. Approximately 130 metres from its north end is an all stone section that might mark the point of a now destroyed gateway." Part of: "Stock grazing management field system; probably relating to pre-crofting or early crofting period summer grazing, consisting of a series of turf walls with some stone reinforcements around gateways and where the walls run across areas of bedrock." (Burgess 2004, 17)
