Full Description

"Measuring 0.3 metres high and 0.5 metres wide this turf wall, occasionally reinforced with stone, runs from west to east for 230 metres. At its west end it starts from the east shore of an unnamed burn at the eastern foot of Cnoc na Righinn, at its east end the wall continues as 1.7. This feature may be the easterly continuation of 1.3 which runs to the west side of the same unnamed burn, slightly to the north." Part of: "Stock grazing management field system; probably relating to pre-crofting or early crofting period summer grazing, consisting of a series of turf walls with some stone reinforcements around gateways and where the walls run across areas of bedrock." (Burgess 2004, 21-22 and 17)
