Full Description

"Situated south of the Balallen to Pairc road this feature is a line of small boulders approximately 4 metres long, orientated from north to south. The boulders are visible in the ground surface and have no extant height, suggesting that they are either the remains of an old footpath/stepping stones, or possibly the tops of some stones set in a sub-peat feature. If the latter is the case it suggests some antiquity, as being located in or beneath the peat indicates a date in the Bronze Age or before." (Burgess 2004, 23)
