Full Description

"This turf and stone dyke is a continuation of of dyke 1.7 and heads west for 196 metres before dog-legging north-west for 31 metres and terminating against the eastern shore of an unnamed tributary that issues into the Abhainn Chleiteir. On the other side of this unnamed burn, and slightly to the north, the course of this boundary continues again in a westerly direction to the east shore of Loch Oigheabhat as dyke 1.3." Part of: "Stock grazing management field system; probably relating to pre-crofting or early crofting period summer grazing, consisting of a series of turf walls with some stone reinforcements around gateways and where the walls run across areas of bedrock."
