Full Description

"This turf and stone dyke is a continuation of dyke 1.20. Truncated (cut) at its east end by the Balallen to Eisgean road, it runs in a south-westerly direction for 227 metres before turning towards the west south-west and running for a further 180 metres to terminate against the east shore of a burn that flows into the south side of Loch na Muilne. Parts the northern face of this dyke are stone-faced and stand as high as 0.5 metres, in these areas the dyke is up to 2 metres broad." Part of: "Stock grazing management field system; probably relating to pre-crofting or early crofting period summer grazing, consisting of a series of turf walls with some stone reinforcements around gateways and where the walls run across areas of bedrock." (Burgess 2004, 33-34 and 17)
