Full Description

"Covering an area on the northern shore of Loch Seaforth Head measuring 27 metres from west to east this group of fossil tree stumps can be seen eroding from the peat section immediately above the high water mark. The remains consist of all sizes from whole stumps down to individual roots and branches, some fully exposed and others still eroding from the peat." (Burgess 2004, 62)
