Full Description

"This dyke, constructed primarily of turf, with some stone reinforcements, runs south from the line of the modern Balallen to Eisgean road for 73 metres before turning west and running for a further 80 metres. Standing to a height of 0.75 metres it is up to 1 metre wide. This dyke represents a phase of land division that pre-dates the crofting activities on the site, possibly relating to the activities of the pre-crofting settlement immediately to the west (25) or to the south west (26). Within the extent of this dyke is an extensive feannagan field system." (Burgess 2004, 63)
